Not over-engineered. Certainly not under-engineered. We look at things from two
perspectives: your business and ours.

Websites and Marketing Material that Actually Look Engineered
Name your favorite car. Chances are it's well-engineered. However, the really captivating
car, the one that grabs and holds your attention, probably also looks well-planned
and well-engineered.
The most effective and engaging websites, marketing collateral, and product brochures
don't simply happen by chance. They're engineered to work together and
actually do something. That, in a nutshell, is what we do.
The Pragmatx 3D Approach
We feel that the best analogy for building a website is building a house. What's
involved depends on what kind of house you want. But regardless of the size and
complexity of the structure, the approach is the same.
- Discovery & Design - in this phase, we:
- Meet with you to measure success, clarifying project goals, requirements,
and style preferences or guidelines.
- Make use of an automated document that that asks a number of questions - everything
from likes and dislikes, competitive positioning, and a host of technical questions
that enable us to understand what you need and how to make you successful.
- We then produce an Information Architecture - an organized visual
representation of the content of the site, ad, or brochure.
- Then we set about designing how to visually present this information in
a coherent and cohesive fashion, using visual comps, wireframes, or storyboards.
- Development & Testing - once the design for presenting the content
is solidified and approved, we:
- Go about the production of the site, imagery, ad, or brochure. This is where the
virtual foundation is staked out, concrete is poured, and frame erected.
- We make sure everything is laid out per plan, and makes sense. If it turns out more
bathrooms are needed, this is the best time to accommodate that. From a site perspective,
this is where we write the actual code to produce the pages, interface with databases,
other websites and data sources, and lead capture systems.
- As we go, we implement SEO best practices so your site will be visible to search
engines. And we know this house won't be an eyesore.
- Delivery & Deployment - after the framework is built out, it's
time to add the internal walls, window coverings, appliances, and floor and wall
treatments.
- We get your site up and running, your marketing collateral to the printer, and connections
established to external systems and data sources.
- Finally, we install visitor tracking and analytics hooks so you can gauge the effectiveness
of your site and campaigns.
- If you are a do-it-yourself type homeowner, we provide you with the tools to update
content as appropriate, but we're always here for you in case you want to redecorate
or add to your structure.
