Consumer Products & eCommerce
Pilgrim's Pride Corporation visit website

In addition to designing and producing their .NET-based public web site, we developed numerous data-driven capabilities, contest pages, recipe search, health news database, and the administration to allow Pilgrim's Pride to maintain their content via web browser.

New features include a consumer-focused theme, the creation of a persona for Bo's daughter Greta, a completely database-driven product description and presentation capability, and Bo's World, an interactive portion of the site which utilizes Flash animation to educate and entertain visitors of all ages.

As Pilgrim's Pride adds or removes products, simply adding or deleting them in their product database automatically includes them in the site, with no HTML programming required.  We've also tied the recipe database into CalorieKing's XML-based web service to retrieve nutritional info on recipes, and also implemented a web services interface to The Weather Channel to obtain local grilling forecasts.

Pragmatx has also been chosen to design some really cool things for Pilgrim's Pride, including the logo for the Pilgrim's Bowl Classic, the sign for Bo Pilgrim Park (the new baseball complex at Stephen F. Austin), and Pilgrim's 60th Anniversary Logo.

Deanan Products, Inc. visit website

Deanan has been providing gourmet popcorn for fundrasing since 1987, and if you've ever bought popcorn in a school fundraiser, chances are you've munched on Deanan products.

Deanan brought pragmatx in to make their web sales "pop", and that's exactly what we did, completely revamping their web presence and integrating both company information and a shopping cart into a new site, which rolled out in July of 2006.

The site is a .NET commerce solution built on top of the AbleCommerce .NET storefront, and interfaces with UPS, a credit card gateway, and Deanan's factory.  But most importantly, it interfaces with Deanan's customers!

Technology Providers
FaceTime Communications, Inc. visit website

FaceTime Communications, a leading provider of technology for secure instant messaging (IM), desired to redesign their web site around new branding and migrate to a new hosting facility at the same time. During this process, they needed to be able to continue capturing sales leads, updating their site with frequent press releases, and announcing and holding web seminars.

Pragmatx created a new site layout to reflect their branding change and better state their message, and we upgraded their technology from ASP to .NET, added some tasteful Flash imagery, and completely rearchitected their site so that articles and forms are much more highly automated, reducing their ongoing maintenance costs.

To keep their client base informed, pragmatx implemented RSS syndication of threat alerts and an email-based threat bulletin that is automatically distributed daily to subscribers. A back-end web-based administration tool was developed to manage the FaceTime threat database and manage subscriber and email distributions.

Neopath Networks, Inc. visit website

To better emphasize their product message and purpose, NeoPath Networks turned to pragmatx to create a new and improved Web presence. As a leading provider of high performance file storage management solutions, NeoPath Networks wanted to drive more sales leads from the site while also providing access to product info and documentation for existing and perspective clients.

Pragmatx worked with the NeoPath marketing team to refine the product messaging and target their customer audience with a new design and layout. Moving the site to ASP.Net allowed for centralized navigation components, multi-functional lead forms, and a single point of integration with salesforce.com. These site architecture improvements will help to reduce costs for NeoPath in the areas of site updates and enhancements while enhancing the overall communication with current and prospective clients.

NeoPath Networks was acquired by Cisco Systems in March 2007

PortAuthority Technologies, Inc. visit website

When Port Authority Technologies was ready to add some advanced features to their existing HTML site, they contacted pragmatx. Adding SEO optimization, salesforce.com integrated lead generation and incorporating corporate messaging into the homepage were some of the first things we tackled.

pragmatx also added the Data Security Labs section of the site to highlight current security issues important to their customer base. This data-driven area on the site uses counters, calculators and graphical charts generated on-the-fly to show how leak protection can be costly to an organization and how PortAuthority Technologies solutions address each leak type.

PortAuthority Technologies was acquired by Websense in January 2007

FirsTech Payments visit website
FirsTech Agents visit website

FirsTech Payment Processing, Inc. is a fast-growing provider of walk-in and online payment processing services for utility companies, insurance companies, telecoms, and charitable organizations.

Pragmatx performed a complete re-branding and then designed and developed printed collateral in concert with the web site so that the company's presentation is consistent across all media. An on-demand Flash-based demo of the company’s offerings is also part of this site.

To support their network of payment agents, FirsTech needed a microsite that helps customers find the payment location closest to them.  Pragmatx designed and developed this site to allow users to enter a zip code and find locations within a range of their current location.  A database of payment locations was integrated with zip code and distance/radius algorithms to create a list of valid locations of the user.  Google map links are created dynamically to allow the user to get a map to each location with one click.

American Receivable Corporation visit website

One of the very first factoring companies on the web, American Receivable Corporation had gradually seen their search result positioning drop as more and more competitors posted sites. But this 24-year veteran of the business knew that their customer service set them apart from their competition. So pragmatx not only designed and developed a new web site to reflect the fact that even rock-solid companies with a history of great performance can change with the times, we rebranded them and created a fresh message for their site.

As part of the branding process, we designed new business cards, stationery, marketing brochures, and online advertising, then embarked on a campaign to raise their rankings in results of the major search engines, to ensure that their site generated the kind of qualified leads it was intended to.

RocPetro Capital visit website

RocPetro Capital wanted to deploy a website where their investors could view reports and information for their natural gas drilling partnerships. A simple template site was used to keep costs to a minimum. A password protected area of the site was added along with the Pragmatx Administration package, which is used to maintain partnership info and partner login info, and to upload reports and images to the site.

Texas Capital Bank visit website

When Texas Capital Bank decided to redesign their public web site, they wanted to be sure it could automatically pick up and display the latest rates, news, and point of contact information. They also needed this solution to fit in with their technological commitment to .NET.

pragmatx took the artist's drawings of the proposed site and architected and produced the new www.texascapitalbank.com site, using Microsoft .NET technologies, including dynamic display of bank officers in sidebars, dynamic news items. In order to allow Texas Capital Bank staff to maintain and expand the site, we also provided templates so they could easily add content themselves.

Medical Providers
Personalized Women's Healthcare visit website

Personalized Women's Healthcare is a medical practice dedicated to the care of girls and women throughout their entire lifetimes. Pragmatx designed their website to complement the brochures and decor of the office, including 360-degree QuickTime video tours of the lobby, ultrasound room, and patient rooms.

Most important is the integration with Medfusion's interface to the practice management system at the office, enabling patients to enter and update their health history, insurance coverage, and contact information directly and securely from the comfort of their own homes.  This also saves the practice from having to enter handwritten patient forms into the system, which makes the patient's visits go smoother and the office operate more efficiently.

Pediatric Dermatology of North Texas visit website

Dr. Fred Ghali, MD, is one of the very few physicians specializing in pediatric dermatology, and while the subject is serious, his professional office is also kid-friendly and colorful!

The site we designed for his practice reflects both the depth and breath of his specialty, and also gives patients a friendly tour of the office so they'll realize it's an OK place to be, while reassuring parents that their child will be receiving care from one of the nation's leading experts in childrens' skin conditions.

Private Intranets

McAfee (Network Associates)

The pragmatx team designed and developed an intranet site which Network Associates uses to track virus outbreaks and the company's progress in quickly containing them. This application is used world-wide, tracks how quickly the various regional entities within NAI respond to outbreaks, and even generates real-time reports for adherence with service level agreements held with enterprise customers. All checklist maintenance, weighting for scoring purposes, outbreak incident creation, checklist item check-off, and reporting is done through the browser, and ProfileStore-based personalization ensures that only those users with proper authority are able to perform functions in their areas of responsibility.

And for the corporate showroom, pragmatx even developed a Command Center Flash front end that is tied to the same database used for data entry and reporting.

Level3 Communications (Software Spectrum)

Reconciling purchase orders and invoices between customers and software publishers required a large desk, stacks of paper, and two thick-client desktop applications that Accounts Payable personnel had to switch back and forth between. pragmatx entered with a portal framework it had developed and in a matter of days had replaced the cumbersome process with a portalized view into three separate enterprise databases.

Now A/R personnel have everything they need in one browser - all purchase orders, all customer orders, and shipping documents. Researching and reconciling invoices for payment is now much more efficient, enabling Software Spectrum to service all their customers better.

Adea Solutions, Inc.

One of the fastest-growing private compaines in America, Adea set as one of its strategic objectives for 2004 the development of a corporate intranet - AdeaGate - for its global operations.  Microsoft Sharepoint Portal 2003 was chosen as the collaboration tool for the task, and pragmatx was the technology partner for the effort.

pragmatx developed a suite of .NET applications to run within the portal and integrated them into the framework seamlessly.  Critical applications included the Engagement Directory, an at-your-fingertips search tool for Adea's entire history of projects, including internal contacts, tools and technologies used, and business areas.

Choice Homes, Inc.

pragmatx provides ongoing analysis, architecture, and implementation of business intelligence solutions for the Vendor Liaison department at Choice Homes. We have developed a suite of web-based solutions for assisting Choice Homes in monitoring and analyzing their customers' satisfaction. In effect, we satisfy this customer by helping them satisfy theirs.

Also for Choice, pragmatx is responsible for the turnkey development of VendorNet, the extranet servicing Choice Homes' network of vendors.

Simmons Corporation

When Simmons Corporation decided to add fuel management services to their fuel tank leak detection products and services, they turned to pragmatx for a personalized portal interface for their customers and business partners.

We wrote an extranet portal to interface seamlessly with their web-based data entry applications and added a security layer to ensure the privacy of each of their customers' data. So that Simmons could offer this service to business partners transparently, we enabled the site to adopt the branding appropriate to the business partner and provided the web-based administrative capability to add new partners without changing a line of code.

Voyager Expanded Learning

Voyager is the number one supplier of literacy curricula in the country. When they landed the New York City Public School district as a client, it was necessary to expand their automated tracking systems with daily updates for each of the schools, teachers, classes, and 250,000 students in the district.

As a Microsoft Certified Partner with certifications in SQL Server Enterprise Database Design, pragmatx rewrote their existing import stored procedures and turned a 6-hour nightly import process into a 20-minute process that can be run any time of day or night without negatively impacting their production systems.
